After assisting a local municipality through a compliance program for the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (effective July 1, 2014), The W Group was invited to optimize their e-communications capabilities by introducing best in-class software and practices to drive higher subscription volumes, open-rates and click through rates leading to increased program and services awareness and sales revenue.

 

The nearly three year old e-communications program has grown to include 24+ News & Updates categories informing residents and community stakeholders of programs and services as well as key initiatives. 

 

The fully CASL and FOIPPA Compliant e-communications program is positioning the municipality to maximize awareness, program efficiency and registration revenue.

 

OUTCOME: Increased e-newsletter subscribers by over 300% and open rates by over 100%, as well attained click through rates well in excess of 25%*.
